What Franklin Dots stores

• Your username, encrypted and indexed by a keyed hash.
• Your display name, shown only to people you share with.
• Your password as a memory-hard scrypt hash.
• A hash of your 8-digit recovery code. The code cannot be reproduced from it.

There is no email address, phone number, or third-party account on file. If you forget your password, the recovery code is the only way back in. Lose both and the ledger cannot be recovered. See the privacy policy.
