What this is
Franklin Dots is a free personal accountability ledger. By using it, you accept these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping its password and recovery code safe. The code is the only way to reset a forgotten password. Anyone with your username and code will be treated as you. You must be at least thirteen. One person may hold one account.
Do not impersonate anyone. An impersonating username may be reclaimed.
What you write
You own what you write. Franklin Dots may store, encrypt, and show it to you and the people you choose. It is not mined, published, or used to train models.
Sharing, and other people
Share carefully and treat other people’s ledgers as private. Do not harass anyone, break the law, or attack the service.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranty. It may be unavailable, lose data, change, or stop. It does not provide medical, psychological, financial, or other professional advice. Keep another copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Franklin Dots is not liable for indirect or consequential loss from use of the service. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or death or injury caused by negligence.
Ending it
You may stop at any time; there is nothing to cancel. What can be asked about deletion, and the limits on asking it, are set out in the privacy policy. Access may be suspended or removed if you breach these terms and harm other people or the service.
Changes
These terms may change. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. The date above records the latest change.
